She drove in silence towards the address written on the little piece of paper that Sascha had given to her. She was getting closer, and the closer she got the more nervous she got. She couldn't help but think she was going to throw up.
"Pull it together Kris." She whispered to herself.
She pulled up to the building, where she knew her dreams were going to come true. She couldn't contain herself, she smiled from ear to ear as she turned her car off. She walked quietly up to the door and let herself in.
"Ms. Pierce?" the receptionist questioned her.
"Um, yeah. That's me." She said, holding up her 'Reporter' badge.
"Ok, right this way." The lady smiled. "You're nervous, don't be. They're great." She whispered.
"Is it that obvious?" Kristi smiled weakly.
"Honey, one word of advice. Just be yourself."
She smiled and opened a door for her.
"Second door on the left."
"Thank you." Kristi smiled and walked down the hall to the second door. She knocked and waited.
The door opened and there was a breif moment where she thought she wasn't breathing.
"Hi Kristi, I'm Brian." he smiled brightly and held his hand out.
"Hi Brian, it's nice to meet you."
"Come on in and meet the other guys." He motioned to the others sitting on the couches.
"Guys, this is Kristi. Kristi, this is, well, the guys." Brian smiled.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you all." She smiled brightly.
Kevin stood up and shook her hand.
"Don't worry, I don't bite." He said jokingly.
"I do, nibble that is." She joked back.
"Oh man, I like you already." Nick said standing up.
"Don't mind him, I'm Howie." She took his hand graciously.
"I'm Nick." He said stepping from behind Howie and taking her hand. He winked at her and smiled. She couldn't believe how beautiful they all were.
"And you must be AJ." She said looking past Nick.
"Last time I checked I was." He said pulling his sunglasses down. "You're hotter than the last girl that interviewed us."
She blushed slightly. She looked up to see Nick say something to AJ and AJ shrugged slightly.
"Take a seat Kristi." Brian said patting the seat next to him.
She sat next to him and Nick pushed in on the other side of her and put his hand on the back of the couch, around her shoulders. She looked over at him and smiled.
"You are beautiful." Nick said quietly, leaning over to her ear.
"Thank you." she smiled.
"No, thank you for coming." He grinned.
"Oh, before I forget. Kevin, Sascha told me to tell you she says hello."
"Ah yeah, good ole Sascha." Kevin grinned widely.
"Kev's got a thing for her." Brian laughed.
"So what if I do, she's a sweet girl."
"Yeah, so how come you don't ask her out?" AJ asked.
"I dunno, just haven't gotten up enough nerve yet." Kevin shrugged.
"Don't worry Kevin, she likes you too." Kristi whispered.
"You know, I think it would be a cool idea to have reporters out on the road with us for the 100 hour tour. Maybe Kristi and Sasch should come aboard with us." Howie whispered to AJ.
"Not a bad idea there D." Aj said smiling as he looked up at Kristi.
"What are you guys talking about? I haven't even gotten to the questions yet." Kristi smiled back at AJ.
"Ask away Kris." Nick smiled and moved closer to her.
She looked into his eyes and looked back around the room.
"Well, I know you guys are probably happy to be back in Orlando. And I know alot of people here in town are happy to have you guys back." She smiled.
"We're deffinetly happy to be home." Brian said with a smirk.
"Are you excited to go back out on the road though?" she questioned.
"Deffinetly. We love our fans, and it gives us a chance to meet some of them." AJ nodded.
"I was so nervous about coming here today, not that I'm scared of you guys or anything, but I'm a closet Backstreet Fan." She giggled.
"We can change that. We're not bad guys, and our music is expressions of what kind of people we are." She looked up at Kevin.
"Maybe you should come to our show tonight. Kind of a little get together we're having." Brian smiled.
She blushed a little and smiled back.
"I'd love to."
