Event 4 Dance party at CU Celebrating the victory over SARS and helping the anti-SARS research in China After exactly two months, on June 24, 2003, WHO removed its travel warning to Beijing, the last area warned by WHO in China. Beijing has also been removed from the list of areas with recent local transmission of SARS, which means that the SARS crisis in China is finally OVER. WHAT GREAT NEWS! In order to celebrate the victory over SARS and support SARS research in China, CUCSSA with other 10 organizations in the Greater New York Area will organize a grand event including one and half hours show and three hours dancing party starting from 7:30 pm on July 11, 2003 (Friday) at Columbia University (The event announcement is also available at SARS Rescue Fund website at: http://www.sarsrescuefund.org/party711.html). During the event, China well-known painter, Mr. Chen Ming will donate some of his paintings for sale on site,earning from paintings, together with the income of the event will be donated to support the anti-SARS research in China.
