OBITUARY FOR JAMES MARION EASLEY

Funeral Held Monday

James Marion Easley, 77, a native of Pottawatomie county, died Thursday in a Tishomingo hospital. He had been in ill health several years.

Funeral services were held Monday morning from the Willis Baptist church of which he had been a member. The Rev. J. L. Nail officiated at the service with burial in the Willis cemetery under the direction of Watts Funeral Home.

Mr. Easley was born May 15, 1885. He came to Marshal county at the age of six and lived here since that time. He had been a farmer most of his life and resided in the Willis and Enos communities.

He and his wife, Mrs. Tinnie Easley, moved to Madill a few years ago after he retired. He had been a member of the Baptist church five years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 17 children, Mrs. Claudie Stone of Oceanside, Calif., Mrs. Jewell Estep of Dallas, Mrs. Annie Ferguson of Idabel, Mrs. Neta Fay Parrish of Powell, Garvis Easley of Enos, Alton Brooks, Mrs. Dorothy Evans and Tommy Easley, all of Duncan; Mrs. Betty Evett of Indio, Calif., Jerrel Don Easley of Riverside, Calif., Mrs. Ruby Lee Hampton of Merced, Calif., Jackie Arlene Tiller of Wichita, Kan., and Floyd Easley, Jessie Easley, Ercy Paul Easley, Juanita Easley and Marie Easley all of Madill.

Also, a sister, Mrs. Florence Montgomery of Borger, Tex.; 33 granchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were A. G. Arnol, Pap Moss, A. E. Brown, Pete Montroe, C. D. Hale, Hubert Sanders, Hoyt Moss and Raymond Stowers."
