I have no actual memories of my grandfather, Henry Essary, since I was only about 18 months at the time of his death. However, I am told that I was the "apple of my grandfather's eye". Maybe that was because I was the only grandchild that he had at the time. Mom tells me that he would pick me up after work on Friday and keep me until Sunday evening. He had me spoiled to ice cream. I'm sure that he would have been a very loving grandfather. 2. ESSARY, Lola May--Born on October 30, 1920 in Texas. She married Ed BLACKWELL. Lola had seven known children. Lola passed away on September 10, 1995 in Anson, Texas. |
