Rory walks into the door of the condo to find Logan on the phone.
“Yea, Finn I’m sure, she just walked in the door,” he says.
“I gotta go she is giving me that look.”
He hangs up and comes over to give her a hug and a kiss.

“Logan we need to have a talk.”
“Sure Ace, what about?”
“I don’t want us to have sex again until we are married, there I said it,”
Logan looks at her for a very long time.
“If that’s what you want,” he says.
“But consider why we first starting making love,” he adds sitting closer to her on the couch.
He runs his hand down her face.
“Because we are in love,”
“I know Logan, but lately I have been feeling uneasy about it,” she says.
“Do you think we are pregnant?” he asks.
She moves closer to him and smiles.
“No, we are not pregnant, but I love that you said we.”
They kiss.
“Will be man and wife forever in four months, I can wait if you can,” he says.

“So what did Finn want?” she asks.
“No changing the subject, Ace.”
“Logan, being married is a special relationship and I am starting to believe that sex should be within that relationship only.”
“Ace, we already live together, and emotionally we are married, how is a piece of paper going to give us permission to have sex?”
Rory looks at her hands.
“I know you recently had to take the religious studies class, and I respect that some of that has rubbed off on you; but whether or not we make love isn’t going determine whether I love you or not. However, if we decide this there is no turning back,” he adds.

Rory doesn’t decide what she wants to do right away. After dinner they watch a bit of television before bed and they study for finals. When Logan goes off to bed Rory stays up for a while thinking. Little later, she goes in the bedroom and sits on the bed. Logan is awake and he just looks at her she seems so sad and unsure of herself; so unlike the Rory he loves so desperately.
“Sex isn’t just for pleasure but to make babies,” she says with conviction.
“If we are not making babies’ maybe we are just being selfish by wanting only the pleasure we can get from it,” she adds.
“I want babies,” he says.

He pulls her in the bed with him and holds her.
“Ace, you are really over thinking this, I’m not going anywhere and we are committed to one another and being inside you is part of being with you for me, and I thought you felt the same way,”
“I did I mean I do, I’m sorry I brought this up, I don’t doubt how you feel at all and I do love you; forget what I said earlier, the more I think about the more I realize not having sex won’t matter its where we are in this relationship that matters.”
“Well, you may have a point I have been thinking tonight too.”
“Stop it Logan I know you are just kidding me,” she says lying on top of him as he is laughing while she tickles him.
Making love was more special than usual that night especially for Logan who had never been a committed relationship before and was having doubts of his own. He wants to be a good fiancé and a wonderful husband to Rory; but sometimes women were just too confusing to try and figure out. Of course, he was glad she changed her mind.
