DEDICATED TO FATHER SKY
AND MOTHER EARTH
ARE YOU LONELY?
WHEN I first
wrote the piece Are you Lonely, from my merging with the river, I felt
vulnerable revealing that this feeling was inside of me. I could sing
this song because I knew this song. It was not foreign to me because I
have been walking it for so long... I was just going to put the poem
back in my journal, but then, for some reason, they told me they wanted me
to share it here, in this space I have dedicated to them..

River has been roaring inside of my head all day. I have merged with
him. He is a part of me. In the amount of time that has elapsed
since the initial merging, much has been felt. For the first week, I
could not help myself. I had to go see him everyday.
The more I
went and saw him, the deeper he merged with me, I am talking about the
Quachita River here. The more he told me of his fate. Finally I
just had to pull myself away from him because his call to me was so strong
that I felt like I was no longer walking in balance.
In order to
find the balance, I decided to go to the the Place of Peace mountain, lay my heart
upon her body and center myself. And knowing that I am going to do
this River calls out to me and tells me to take the stones I took from
inside his body and lay them upon her body so that she would know how much
he loved her. So I did, I laid his stones upon her body and told her
that her husband sent his love.
Now today him
and her, they would not quit talking to me. He was telling me what it felt
like in the place where they made the damns to stop his water... He was
telling me that his waters were supposed to flow as they flowed, like an ebb
and tide of making love to her body... they stopped his water because they
do not understand his song to her.
So this is how they are showing it to me.... On one side there is a group of
people for whom they feel they have an understanding of the Mother.. but
they have no understanding of the Father...
And on the other side there is a group of people who think they have an
understanding of the Father, but they have no understanding of the
Mother.....
They say, We are One and we cannot be separated..... something about even
down to the smallest atom, when they tried to separate the him from the her,
it made a horrible bomb....
The Water and the Earth say, We Are One...... they are waiting for the ones
who will understand their song.........
They are
telling me that when the sleep walkers awaken they will want to remove the
damn the Father...
