Ak-O-Mak

RoseMary Dawson Memorial

In May 2003 Rosemary Dawson passed away. The Dawson family welcomed Renee into their home in Florida during her senior year in high school. Buck and Rosemary also owned Camp Ak-O-Mak, the camp that Renee went to for 5 summers as a teenager.

In August Renee and Lindsey made the journey to Ak-O-Mak. They spent 4 days with Buck and other Ak-O-Mak alumni. During their visit Lindsey fell in love with Ak-O-Mak.

As a result, Lindsey plans on attending Ak-O-Mak for 3.5 weeks next summer and Renee hopes to spend a few weeks at camp herself.
