A Wonderful Thanksgiving!

This past Thanksgiving was spent at Uncle Terry's house in Spring Lake. Michael had a hockey tournament in Holland Thanksgiving weekend so we went down a day early and spend Thanksgiving Day with Renee's family.

Uncle Earl fixed one of three turkeys in a deep fryer and it was wonderful! Mike swears that it is the way to go if you want to have a great tasting turkey. Renee says that she knows that such a wonderful taste does not come without some extra calories attached!

The nicest treat besides the turkey and the company, was our California sister who flew into Grand Rapids and showed up at the front door and surprised us all! We were quite shocked and yet, very happy and excited to have her home after 4 years!

It was great being able to to spend the weekend together. Family, Friends, Holidays and Hockey....can it get much better? It will definately rank in the top three of Favorite Thankgivings for many years to come!
