Yellowstone Bound and Beyond!

4500 Miles in 10 Days! OH MY!

Mike has always had a dream of taking a car ride to Yellowstone. He had never been and neither had Renee or the kids. This was the summer to do it and so we did!

We left on Thursday, August 7 at 11:30AM from Mt. Pleasant after dropping a sick cat off at Doctor Neil's. It was a last minute change of plans...who would have thought the cat would get sick on the day that we were leaving? We are forever blessed by Dr. Neil. He is always running to our rescue!

We drove up through the UP on a beautiful sunny summer day. It took us about 9 hours to get to our first stop, Wisconsin Dells where we had reservations at the Flamingo Hotel. We will not go into the hotel accomodations, but suffice to say that it left us wondering what type of hotels we would be surprised with for the rest of the trip!

Friday was spent at the Noah's Ark Waterpark. It was great fun and the overcast day helped the red heads to avert sunburns, which was a nice added "perk". We think everyone should visit Noah's Ark Waterpark, it is a very family friendly place.
