Epitaphs.
I came across an epitaph, so I thought maybe we can each of us add 10.

The author August Strindberg died in May, 1912.
His modest grave with just a wooden cross bears the Latin inscription:
O Crux Ave Spes Unica!
(O Cross, Be Greeted, Our Only Hope)

Poetess Emily Dickinson, died 1886. Buried in West Cemetery - Amherst, Massachusetts. Her epitaph reads:
Called Back
(Her last words were: Let us go in; the fog is rising.)
