I'm sure you've heard of these people. They descend on sites like hungry villians, gobble up the goodies, leave a virus, and then vanish...
Well, not really, but they're still annoying.
Flamers, these are the people Webmasters fear. If We're late on an update, they will e-mail, telling you ho stupid you are for not updating on time and that it's not that hard and that they should get more from this site than this. The mark of a true Webmaster is a flame. It's sad, but true. In a way, we should be happy about flames, As it means our site(s) is/are in high demand by the general PR populace.
But, we aren't.
Flames are mean, hurtful things to send a Wemaster/Webmistress because they not only attack the site, they attack the person. There are real people behind those sites. Real people with feelings. If you have a complaint you should at least have the sense to write what you're feeling in a respectable manner.
Flames are not right. They're wrong. If you flammers were true PR fans you would've learned this by now.
Let's stop the flames.
