Rules and Conditions
-
Use at Your Own Risk. Because agility is an activity
which involves risk, especially with multiple dogs on the field,
before entering the field you must sign a
waiver and assumption of risk
releasing Best Friends Obedience and All Creatures Inn from responsibility
for any injury or damage that you or any person or dog with you may suffer and
an agreement to indemnify and hold Best Friends Obedience, Inc. and
All Creatures Inn harmless from any liability for that injury or damage.
This release and agreement is comprehensive. Read it carefully before
signing.
-
Safety. You are entirely and solely responsible for
the safety of your dog and for the safety of others from your dog.
You must not let your dog run out of control or aggress another. You must be
aware of others and prevent others from approaching or aggressing your
dog.
-
Aggressive dogs. If you know you dog is aggressive,
leash or muzzle it appropriately the entire time it is on the premises
and warn others. Solicit their help in keeping their dogs away from
yours so they may help you keep a safe working environment for all. If your
dog damages any person or dog, you will be held liable.
-
Asked to Leave. You agree to leave the premises
immediately if the representative of Best Friends Obedience, Inc. or All Creatures Inn asks you to do because she/he has, in his or her sole
discretion, found you, your dog, or anyone accompanying you is out of control or
interfering with the safe and pleasurable use of the premises by all there,
or if you have children who are in jeopardy or jeopardizing the
safety and ability of others to work freely.
-
No Unaccompanied Children. For their own safety, please leave small
children at home. Only minors who are actively engaged in training their dog
will be permitted on the field, and they must have a responsible
adult present.
- Be Considerate of Others. Please limit your repetitions on an obstacle if
others are waiting. Feel free to work together to set up obstacle sequences
and take turns.
- Be Kind to Your Dog. At a trial, your dog is only running for
a couple of minutes. Bring water, and recognize when your dog needs
a break. Respect your dog's limits.
- Moving the Equipment. Some of the equipment can be moved around
as needed to create different training sequences, and the heights of all
the jumps can be changed. Please ask the Best Friends Obedience representative
if you need help with the equipment.
Please do not change the A-frame alone.
It is dangerous to try to change the A-frame's height without help.
Please do not move the tire frame or see-saw alone, it will damage the equipment. You
may adjust the height of the tire alone.
Neither the dog walk nor the weave cage
is to be moved.
- Working More than One Dog. Bring a crate or x-pen
to hold the dog that is not being worked. Please don't leave a dog tied and unattended.
