If your worried about Squall's strength there is an easy way to boost it without growing levels. First have Shiva learn her Ice/Water refinement. Second, go to the coast on the edge of the island. Then fight fastitolcan-f's until you have 5 fish fin's then refine them using Shiva's ability. You should have 100 water magic spells. Junction them on Squall under anything and it will skyrocket. For spirit draw alot of cure spells from your enemies and have Quezacotl learn his mid magic refinement and refine them. Curaga's should send Spirit up over 70.

IMPORTANT: While still on Balamb island fight Caterchipillar's until you get alot of spider webs. Then use one on Quistis so she will learn her Ultra Waves limit break.All the others will be useful for weapon refinement.

To beat Diablos: He is very easy to defeat if you do it right. First cast protect on at least two members. Then have one do physical attacks, another use magic, and the other go into Draw, select Demi, pick cast and cast it on him.

Quistis can learn her next limit break, Electrocute, from Wendigo's.

Before going to the train in Balamb talk to a woman in red just in front of the station. She is the Card Queen. This is optional but if you beat her 10 times at cards she will change the trade rule to All.

Here is an easy one, in Irvine's limit break when the shots stop doing damage stop shooting, this means the enemy is dead.

When you get the Ragnarock change the screen to the World Map, find a location with the little hand and put it on cruise control
