About Me

    Hi, my name is Jeff and welcome to my site dedicated to the wonderful hobby of casino chip collecting. Over the years, I have collected many things from coins to Tom Clark Gnomes to Pokemon cards (thanks to my kids!). I must confess that I am a pack-rat and casino chips provide the perfect outlet for my weakness. They don't take up much room, I'm fascinated with them, and they don't need to be dusted!

    My wife, Mary Beth, and three kids, Trevor, Conor, and Emma are very supportive in my collecting efforts. The kids get excited when I show them a new chip, and they really get going when I get extra chips to share! I cannot forget our cat, Zelda. The cat plays no favorites...every one of us is subject to sneak attacks in between her naps.

    Last year, we took the kids to Las Vegas. While the lights and action may have been a little intimidating at first, they quickly got used to it and had a great time. We're planning this year's vacation and while Las Vegas was fun, we'll do something a bit more "kid oriented" this time. 

    I have been working for the same company for 18 years, and currently manage 9 employees. They too have been introduced to my hobby. I'll make a chipper out of at least one of them before I'm done!

    This site is a work in progress, please check back often to see what's new. This will be more than just a series of images, I want it to be educational as well. In any case, I'm learning a lot by doing the gaming area research. Feel free to email me with suggestions, comments or just to talk chips!
