My Hall of Fame Chips

These chips are my favorites. They are in no particular order. My choices are based on value and personal appeal. More chips will be added as my collection grows, so check back often. These chips are not available for sale or trade, but check below for my list of traders.

Golden Nugget $25 "Rooming House" Las Vegas-Pic-I acquired this very rare chip from Casino Rarities. It is the jewel of my Golden Nugget collection. From the classic "G-N" mold, to the awesome inlay...a tremendous chip.

Christmas Tree $1 Reno-Pic-Another Casino Rarities acquisition, this chip has it all: Almost perfect condition, desirable small-key mold, and a striking inlay. This one ranks as my favorite Reno chip.

Binion's Horseshoe Club $0.25 Las Vegas-Pic-The value for this chip has dropped considerably over the last few years, but I still love it! Obtained though eBay, this chip has the highly sought-after arodie mold, and a great picture inlay...rare for a low denomination chip.

Cal-Neva Lodge $100 Lake Tahoe-Pic-Most of these are drilled, but I got this one from Chips off the Old Block in pristine condition. Sporting a "T" mold and an unusual blue hot stamp, this chip leads a group of Tahoe chips making the H.o.F.

Stardust $5 & $25 Lake Tahoe-Pic-Known more for the Las Vegas Strip,  here are the two chips from the Tahoe location. With arodie molds and the familiar Stardust inlay, these chips are rarely seen for sale. Thanks to Chips off the Old Block and Casino Rarities for providing these chips to me. Perhaps the Illegal Northern Kentucky Stardust will make it here soon as well. NEW!! I just received the $1 and $5 Stardust illegals! Pics of these chips will be up soon.

Treasure Chest $25 Carson City-Pic-Another eBay win for me. A flawless version of this black, horseshoe mold chip. The inlay on this one makes it a desirable chip that's tough to get.

Tahoe Village Roulettes Lake Tahoe-Pic-These get grouped together. At this time, I have several red, cream, and navy colored chips.  The different die-cut metal inlays on smooth molds are striking to see. Roger Craner and James Campiglia helped me get these, and I'm looking for more.

The following pictures are of chips from specific casinos and collections of chips based on a particular theme.

Golden Nugget-Las Vegas-Pic- My favorite casino to collect. The GN was my mother's favorite casino to stay in while vacationing in Las Vegas. The GN has a lot of history and has produced many wonderful chips.

Cal Neva Lodge-Lake Tahoe-Pic- I love Lake Tahoe! The Cal Neva is the oldest operating casino in Nevada. The chips through it's history have been simple yet elegant. With lots of "T" mold Hot Stamped chips available, the Cal Neva is my favorite Lake Tahoe casino to collect.

Binion's Horseshoe-Las Vegas-Pic- A downtown Las Vegas casino, also with a long history. The arodie chips were the center of a hoarding controversy  a few years ago. Regardless, the building inlay chips are very desirable to collect.

Kentucky Derby-coming soon!-A nice collection of chips from Nevada and Atlantic City, including the 2002 releases! I need the NY NY 1997 No Cash Value to complete the collection...any out there for sale?

Trader Section

I have a few chips available for trade. I may also be persuaded to trade for others in my collection, but the offer needs to be good! Take a peek and see if there is something you need. I'm looking to trade for Kentucky illegals, but I'll consider any offer. More traders arriving soon, so check back.

My Want List

This list will change often as my collecting interest also changes. For now, the list is small but actually covers a lot of ground.

Golden Nugget-Las Vegas-My favorite casino to collect. Anything not already on my list will perk my ears. Two in particular that I'm looking for are the $100 50th Anniversary, and the $5 7th issue ( from the Official US Casino Chip Price Guide).

Cal-Neva Lodge-Lake Tahoe-Again, I'll look at anything not already on my list, but I really like the earlier issues.

Tahoe Village-Lake Tahoe-Roulettes in the following colors: Brown, yellow, and pink in smooth mold.

New York New York-Las Vegas-The 1997 Kentucky Derby No Cash Value. This will complete my Derby chip collection...that is until the the next round of chips is released!

Illegals from Kentucky-Some of these clubs were nicer than their legal Las Vegas counterparts. I prefer the Newport, Covington area but chips from any illegal Kentucky club are desired. I'm more likely to trade for these.

Illegals from Indiana-I plan on expanding my gaming area section to include Southern Indiana. There were many illegal clubs in Jeffersonville and I would like to begin a collection of them for reference.
