The Key of David
Key

Is there a key to the Bible, and do you have it? If there is a key most people want have it, because a key is for selection, the ones that have it can unlock and the ones that do not can't. What would be the point of the key if this is not the case. Lets start with our Lord Jesus The Christ.

Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, HE THAT HATH THE KEY OF DAVID, HE THAT OPENETH, AND NO MAN SHUTTETH; AND SHUTTETH, AND NO MAN OPENETH;

Yes there is a key. If the LORD gives you the key, you can unlock wisdom in THE WORD OF GOD. This key is to know the true Christ from the false, but thats another study. In this study we will use the key to unlock truth about Israel. Lets go to David the key.

2 Samuel 7:1 And it came to pass, when the king sat in his house, and the LORD had given him rest round about from all his enemies;

This verse is to establish that king David was in his house, in Jerusalem at this time.

2 Samuel 7:8 Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel:

The LORD'S people are Israel, all 12 tribes not 1 tribe, the Jews.

2 Samuel 7:9 And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great [men] that [are] in the earth.

David was the greatest human king Israel has had. Can you think of a greater name than king David, our Father keeps His word.

2 Samuel 7:10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,

If they were in Jerusalem, Judah, were did the LORD appoint a place for Israel? Were did he plant Israel? This is part of the Key of David, don't read over this, our Father will move Israel to another land thats not in the middle east. Affict them any more, in Jerusalem today there blowing each other away! In the new land Israel will not be afficted by the canaanites.

2 Samuel 7:11 And as since the time that I commanded judges [to be] over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house.
2 Samuel 7:12 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
2 Samuel 7:13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

In the above verses the LORD says "I will" three times, the throne of David is forever! King David's descendants, his seed line, must be on the throne over part of Israel TODAY. Lets go to The Book of Luke.

Luke 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
Luke 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

The throne of David is most important, you see its our Lord Jesus The Christ's Throne on earth waiting for Him to rule from. Lets go back to 2 Samuel.

2 Samuel 7:14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

This covenant is not dependent upon any man. This is the throne that Jesus The Christ will come back to rule the world from.

2 Samuel 7:15 But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took [it] from Saul, whom I put away before thee.
2 Samuel 7:16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.

This is an UNCONDITIONAL covenant, and its FOREVER. Our Father said Forever, Friend some where on earth is the throne of David and the kingdom of Israel.
