MY CABBAGE PATCH KIDS!

I adopted these kids over a period of several years.

Class of 1983

These dolls have a black signature with no date.

Grace Roxanna

#3 head mold, dark skin, dark brown hair, brown eyes, birthday October 1, OK tag. I begged my parents to get me a cabbage patch doll and she was the one they happened to give me. She has been well-loved. Unfortunately I lost her birth certificate long ago.

Everybody goes to her for advice. She spends most of her after-school time talking on the phone to her MANY boyfriends (including one she met online!!) and talking with her friends and many siblings. She's also working on her own web page, which should be up pretty soon. Her secret ambition, though, is to write for one of the internet CPK newsletters or to be an actress.

Erica Eve

#2 head mold, FRECKLES, red ponies, SMALL blue eyes, OK tag. Her birthday, I think, is February 1. I got her in a bunch at our local flea market. Her hair appears to have been cut, but it could still fit in its two ponytails. She came with a sibling (see Class of 1985's Erin Elizabeth).

Erica is outgoing, loves to shop and talk on the phone. She and Grace talk constantly about boys. She and her sister Erin constantly bicker, and she's taller and older than Erin. She's also pretty athletic; she likes doing backflips in her room and wants to be a gymnast.

Vicki Leigh

#4 pacifier face head mold, lemon blonde loops, blue eyes. Pacifier was replaced. KT tag. Bought her at a garage sale. Birthday May 1.

A country girl, Vicki is horse crazy and loves animals and the outdoors. She's begging me to get her a new horse as hers was stolen -- poor girl! She's won a lot of awards for riding and likes watching hore racing on TV.

Madelyn Rose

#2 head mold, golden blonde braids, blue eyes, OK tag. Bought her at flea market.

Madelyn is very shy and self-conscious. The other kids are trying to break out of her shell.

Tiffany Renee

Tiffany, actually, looks just like Grace Roxanna except that her tag gives me the impression that she's an early 83 rather than a later one. The later tags have a different typeface on them.

She likes music, sports, and dancing. She'd like to either be a cheerleader or a tennis player. She has a younger sister, Kendra Monique, an '88 Coleco toddler, who'd like to let her know she exists.

Class of 1984

The early '84 dolls have a green signature with no date, and the later ones have a green signature with the date '84 below it.

Kelly Jo

#4 headmold, olive skin, brown ponies, brown eyes, missing tag. Bought her from someone on the internet. She has very high cheek color, so I suspect she might be a P or a UT. Her green signature has no date.

Kelly wants to be the first woman president and, to get a start in politics, she's running for class president. She speaks with a detectable New England accent. She likes wearing pinstripe suits and ties.

Kelly wants some classmates, too, and I'm trying to get her some.

Class of 1985

This is a large class, so be patient. The '85s have a blue signature with the date on their tush.

Lance Anthony

Coleco preemie, #3 head mold, dark skin, brown tuft, brown eyes, SS tag. He's smaller than the regular sized Colecos.

He's a smart but easygoing guy who likes jokes, attention, and making people laugh.

Corey James

He's a bald Coleco with a #4 head mold, dark skin, and brown eyes. OK tag. I found him fully dressed except for socks and shoes at a garage sale.

He is Mister Smooth -- all the girls like him. He wants to be a male model. If not that, then he wants to be a basketball star like his idol Shaquille O'Neal.

Baylee Brooke

She has a brown poodle with two ponies on the side and violet eyes, a #3 head mold, a P tag with one slight pox mark, and I found her at the same garage sale. She's long and lean.

She likes sports, hacking at the internet, video games, and hanging with her best friend Corey. She's kind of a tomboy. She hates "Baylee" and prefers Brooke.

Erin Elizabeth

She's a chubby #4 with an OK tag. She has long red braids and blue eyes. She's Erica Eve's sister.

She's almost the exact opposite of her sis. She likes flowers, gardening, the theater, and opera music. Wants to pursue the stage. She and best-friend Grace want to try out for a school play.

Christina Madison

She's a #8 girl who wears glasses, they're so cute! She has pale blonde ponies and blue eyes and came fully dressed. She has an OK tag and I bought her at a thrift shop.

Chrissy, as she is called, is a Miss Priss. She loves her long southern walks, her coffee and tea, and pretty, frilly dresses. She wishes she'd lived in the time of Scarlett O'Hara and Gone with the Wind.

Lexie Danielle

She's a #4 girl with a tan poodle with two ponies and green eyes. She has a PMI tag and I got her at the flea market.

Lexie likes to eat lots of junk food, especially donuts and cotton candy!

Avery Jonathan

#2 head mold, auburn loops, brown eyes. Bought him at a thrift shop. OK tag. He came fully dressed in his #31 outfit except for socks and shoes.

He wants to be a pro football player, but for now he'll settle for playing it with the other boys : )

Class of 1986

Here is another large class that's only gotten larger since I last did this. These kids have a pink signature with the date '86 on their bum.

Alyssa Marie

She's a chubby #8 girl with glasses that she only wears part of the time. She has dark brown braids, brown eyes, an olive skin tone, and a RIGHT holding hand. OK tag. Bought her at flea market.

Alyssa is a serious bookworm. She's nosy and wants to be a detective when she grows up. Right now she's working on a group of detective stories (starring herself, of course) with her friend (and classmate) Tara Lynne.

Tara Lynne

Another #8 chubby girl, but she has long golden blonde ponies and blue eyes. OK tag and right holding hand. Bought her at flea market. Birthday April 1.

Tara is a hopeless romantic and aspiring author. She can't wait to meet Mr. Right! She has a close-knit group of friends, including Alyssa, Erin, and Grace.

Shirlee Olivia

She's a Cornsilk kid with the hard-to-find blonde SHIRLEY TEMPLE curls, blue eyes, #10 head mold, OK tag, wearing original dress. Got her at flea market. (That's why she got her name -lol)

Her main ambition is to be crowned Miss America, and she's entered and won a couple of in-house pageants. After winning the pageant, she wants to be a model.

Classes of 1987, 1988, 1989

The '87s have a mint signature on their bum. The '88s have a purple, and the '89s have a pink signature.

Michael Andrew

He's a 1987 Coleco Bathtime Kid with reddish brown combable hair and blue eyes. Bought him at the flea market.

He likes baths, combing his hair, and surfing the 'net. He wants to be a CPA.

Kendra Monique

1988 Coleco toddler, OK tag, dark skin, straight bangs, dark brown hair, brown eyes. 12" tall, #3 headmold.

She's constantly trying to get her big sister (Tiffany Renee) to pay attention to her and performs all kinds of mischief.

Lauren "Laurie" Patricia

1989 Designer Kid, brown cornsilk curls, blue eyes, original dress. See pic. Bought her from Ebay Auction Web. P tag.

She's a feisty Future Spice Girl. She likes listening to (of course) the Spice Girls, designer clothes, shopping, and music videos.

Hasbro and Mattel Kids

Signature colors of these kids vary. They typically have no date on them.

Alison Joy

I believe her to be a '90 Hasbro 1st edition Birthday Kid. She has the open mouth for a party favor. She has a mass of brown crinkled hair with red highlights and brown eyes. I got her at a flea market.

Alison is the wild child of the bunch. She's very rebellious and boy-crazy. She likes parties, shopping, and the city life.

Jessica Anne

She's a Hasbro Splash and Tan with short red cornsilk hair and green eyes. I got her at a garage sale for a quarter!

She likes doing anything creative and likes to swim.

Andie Lee

She's a Mattel Basketball Olympikid from 1996. She has tan hair and blue eyes. I got her from somebody on the internet.

Her idol is Sheryl Swoopes and she wants to win the gold medal in the Olympics.

Paris Monet

She's a Mattel baby, dark skin, dark brown tuft, brown eyes. Got her from a flea market.

Named after my darling little niece, she likes to eat, smile, and be pampered!

This new page details all the new kids I'll be getting or I have already gotten over the past few weeks.

Also, check out my collection of 4" CPK poseables. Panosh Place made them in 1984 and 85, I believe; Hasbro made them in 1991; and Mcdonalds had them in Happy Meals in 1992 and 1994. This page isn't done yet, but I'm working on it. And I'm always looking for more of these cuties!
