ROSIE SOUNDTRACK REVIEW
(from Sleazenation, January 1999)

Forming the soundtrack to the forthcoming Belgian film directed by Patrice Toye this is a quality collection of veering, spiked ambiance, sculpted contemplations and Parish's distinctive take on velveteen West Country blues. Alison Goldfrapp, sometime Tricky and Spacer collaborator, lends her silky tones to the album's only vocal track, an arresting union of repeated pleas, crafted guitar and shimmerong cymbals. Parish sounds at home with the soundtrack medium, allowing him to cut loose, as on Burn Rubber Barons, and craft unsettling shapes from feedback and straining strings as on Pipeline Disturbance and Accident.
