When I first created this site, I expected to be flooded with hate mail. (Knock on wood, it has been mostly positive:) You have all shown me that there are a lot more people like me out there and that there are a lot more people who understand.
I have tried to keep up with the email and guestbook entries because I like to write back to everyone who signs or sends me email. Unfortunately, the response has been so overwhelming, my head is spinning:)
If you've visited the About This Site page, you know that I have decided to make this a permanent site. You all are partly responsible for that. You've shown me that there are other people out there who see the less obvious problems facing our youth today, and that they want something to be done about it. The creation of the original page was a spontaneous decision on my part. The things I was reading about Littleton brought back some unwelcome memories for me. I really don't dwell on them all that much - I mainly get upset that kids being "outcasts" still occurs, and that's really what prompted me to share my own experiences.
This site will be expanding, and I've gotten an idea planted in my head by one visitor to create a webgraphic that can be displayed on others' websites to spread tolerance and stop hatred:) If you'd like to be notified when this site is updated, please sign up using the Onelist button below.
Anyway, I just wanted to say Thank You again. You've all shown me that there is hope:)
