To The Antique Shops and Galleries on Royal St.

floralline

Royal Street has the reputation of having some of the most exclusive, unique, expensive, elegant, extravagant, ornate and beautiful antiques in the world. I'm going to take you on a little sampling tour of the shops to see if you agree!

Also here on Royal St. is Hurwitz Mintz, a furniture company not like any other, let's go in, you'll see what I mean.

There are some fabulous art galleries on Royal Street, again this is just a little sampling of them, but each one is a treasure trove.

We could spend hours in just the galleries alone....but there's so much more for you to see yet!

Since we're here in the French Quarter, there are two more places that are not to be missed. The first is Crescent City Architectural Salvage, they find the most exquisite....well, stuff! It takes your breath away. And we just have to stop by the oldest candy store in New Orleans, Laura's, the smells alone will tempt you!

Well, I don't know about you, but I think we need a place to sit and relax and be pampered for a while....and I know just the place, K-Paul's! He'll entertain us, feed us, and even give us his best recipe's, and best of all, it's just right around the corner. And here we are......

Now that we're feeling full and lazy there's only one thing to do before we go home to change and get ready for the nite-life on Bourbon St. and that is... to take the trolley down historic St. Charles Ave to the end of the line and back again. All aboard.....(click on the trolley).. enjoy!
