General Sports

New York Jets (8-8)
16. New York
Jets

(From New England)
DE Shaun Ellis, Tennessee
The Jets are going to need some more defensive linemen if they are going to return to the 4-3 defensive alignment. Shaun Ellis would fill a big need for the Jets and they appear to be focusing in on him.

Oakland Raiders (8-8)
17. Oakland
Raiders

WR Sylvester Morris, Jackson State
The Raiders have needed another receiver for the last couple of years. Since they are now running a version of the west coast offense, I would expect them to go with a taller receiver, Sylvester Morris.

New York Jets (8-8)
18. New York
Jets
DT Chris Hovan, Boston College
The Jets got a defensive end with their first pick, now look for them to get a defensive tackle with this selection. Chris Hovan would be a good fit for this team.

Seattle Seahawks (9-7)
19. Seattle
Seahawks

(From Dallas)
DE John Engelberger, Virginia Tech
The Seahawks need to build depth on the defensive line, so for the second year in a row they will go with a defensive end, John Engelberger.

Detroit Lions (8-8)
20. Detroit
Lions
OT/G Travis Claridge, USC
The Lions would like to get an offensive lineman in the first round and a running back in the second round. Look for them to go with Travis Claridge here.

Kansas City Chiefs (9-7)
21. Kansas City
Chiefs
RB Jamal Lewis, Tennessee*
The Chiefs have a huge hole to fill at the running back position. Chiefs GM Carl Peterson likes Jamal Lewis and feels that he can be the same type of player that Edgerrin James is. The Chiefs also have needs at outside linebacker and wide receiver, so one of those positions might be addressed if Lewis is off of the board.

Seattle Seahawks (9-7)
22. Seattle
Seahawks
WR Dez White, Georgia Tech*
The Seahawks need to replace Joey Galloway, and Dez White might be a better receiver than Galloway in the long-run. With Derrick Mayes, Dez White, and Shawn Dawkins in the mix, the Seahawks receiver corps should be set. Holmgren could also go with an offensive lineman with this pick, but it appears as if he is really locking in on White.

Carolina Panthers (8-8)
23. Carolina
Panthers

(From Miami)
DE Adalius Thomas, Southern Mississippi
The Panthers really like Adalius Thomas and it appears as if they have locked in on him as their pick. Thomas really helped himself at the combine with a stellar workout.

San Francisco (4-12)
24. San Francisco
49ers

(From Washington)
CB Rashard Anderson, Jackson State
The 49ers defensive backs were absolutely pathetic last season. This pick will almost definitely be used to shore up the secondary. Rashard Jackson's stock has been steadily rising and I would expect him to be the 49ers' selection, although the 49ers could trade down again.

Minnesota Vikings (10-6)
25. Minnesota
Vikings
CB Mario Edwards, Florida State
The Vikings should have addressed their defensive backfield problems in last years draft, and they won't make the same mistake again this year. Look for them to select Mario Edwards with this pick. Edwards.

Buffalo Bills (11-5)
26. Buffalo
Bills
OG Cosey Coleman, Tennessee
The Bills could still use some improvement on the offensive line, and they will probably be losing Reuben Brown in free agency. Look for them to select Cosey Coleman.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5)
27. Tampa Bay
Buccaneers
WR Jerry Porter, West Virginia
The Bucs need more playmakers on offense. Jerry Porter proved during his short time at wide receiver that he is a playmaker. Look for him to be the Bucs' pick.

Indianapolis Colts (13-3)
28. Indianapolis
Colts
LB Keith Bulluck, Syracuse
The Colts really have no weaknesses on the offensive side of the ball and will be looking to improve the defense with this pick. Jim Mora loves good linebackers, and Keith Bulluck would help solidify the Colts' linebacking corps.

Jacksonville Jaguars (14-2)
29. Jacksonville
Jaguars
WR Travis Taylor, Florida*
The Jaguars will be looking for the best player available, and were looking at Travis Taylor and Dez White at the combine. Look for Taylor to be their selection.

Tennessee Titans (13-3)
30. Tennessee
Titans
S Deon Grant, Tennessee
The Titans showed in the Super Bowl last season that they need some more depth in the secondary. Deon Grant will provide them with that.

St. Louis Rams (13-3)
31. St. Louis
Rams
OT Todd Wade, Tennessee State
The Rams are going to have to replace Fred Miller. Todd Wade is another player who has been moving up the draft board, and it would not surprise me to see him selected with this pick.
