"My mom said she'll call when she gets home" Kev informed them.

"OK, we'll keep the phone line open" Nicole said.

As time went by and the gang did their homework together (stopping every once in a while to explain something to someone.) Kevin was expecting his phone call, but it never came. "It's almost 6 'o clock and Kev's mom hasn't called, and mom hasn't come to pick us up yet" Maria said worringly

"Maybe we should have dad call them Amy suggested.

"OK, good idea" Sara responded. Just as Amy went to tell her dad the situation, the door bell rang. "I'll get it" yelled Nicole. She opened the door to see Kevin's mom with Sara and Maria's mom they all looked kind of depressed.
"What's wrong?" Kev asked his mom.

"I'll tell you when we get home"

"Mom?" Sara and Maria said in a questioning voice. "When we get home" she said. "Let's get going now"

"Could we please have 5 more minutes?" Brian askedBR>
The kids went into another room and started talking

"Whats going on?" Maria asked

"I dunno, they're acting kinda weird its spooking me out" Nick answered. "We'll meet here tomorrow and talk about this ok?" AJ asked. "Fine with us" they all said. "C'mon we gotta be getting home!" Kev's mom yelled. "COMING!"

Brian went home with Kev and his mom, Nick went with Sara & Maria, and AJ, Howie & Jan's parents were by a few minutes later to pick them up.
