There's one thing I've always done and I've always told the congregation to check me with the Bible. There's one thing that I've always instigated and urged people to do, is to judge me by the scriptures, to let all man be a liar. Even when the Lord told me to tell the people to follow me as I follow him . . . search the scriptures, let all man be a liar, and let God be true. |

Visions and that that the Lord speaks to us has got to be in harmony and agreeable with the scriptures. The Spirit and the word agrees. And that's why we have the scriptures. Every scriptures was given for doctrine, for reproof, for rebuke, for exhortation, that the man of God may be thoroughly furnished in every good work. But scriptures wasn't given for debate, they wasn't given to twist. For that that God gave one apostle it wasn't controversory to the other in the Bible. It was in harmony one with another. Satan comes sometimes as ministers of righteousness. He transforms himself as ministers of righteousness. In order to deceive the elect, if possible, he has to come in as near the real as he can. |

How many people today truly believe that the Holy Bible is the Holy Bible? From the time of the apostles true Christians have believed and accepted and reverenced the written word of God. For centuries Bible believing Christians have accepted the Holy Bible as God's pure unadulterated preserved words. But how many people today still believe that the Holy Bible is the pure, absolute, undiluted, unpolluted, unadulterated word of God? How many people today believe that the written word of God in the Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. How many people today believe that the written word of God in the Bible supersedes every man's spoken word, regardless of his position in the church, or his claims of superiority, or his claims of repeated visitations or divine revelations (Deut. 18:22; Matt. 24:24; II Cor. 11:14,15; I John 2:26,27). After making the above statements nearly 40 years ago does David Terrell believe that the Holy Bible is God's pure preserved word and that the New Testament is the completed revelation of Jesus Christ? Or does he, like many modern-day prophets, teach that the Bible has mistakes in it, and that God has more words to reveal to his people than what is recorded in the Bible, and that the words proceeding out of his mouth is the voice of God speaking to the church today thereby putting his own words equal to or above the scriptures? The Bible warns us that in the last days the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, and that there will come a falling away first from the faith which was once delivered unto the saints, the pure words of the LORD which are the holy scriptures preserve[d] by God himself in our beloved KJV Holy Bible (II Tim. 4:3; II Thess. 2:3; Jude 1:3; Psa. 12:6; II Tim. 3:15; Psa. 12:7). How many people today still believe that the English authorized version (KJV) Holy Bible is the pure (Psa. 12:6; 119:140; Prov. 30:5,6) inspir[ed] (II Tim. 3:16) infallible (Acts 1:3) preserve[d] (Psa. 12:7) word of God (I Thess. 2:13), preserved to all generations (Psa. 33:11; 100:5; 119:90) for the obedience of faith (Rom. 16:26), faith in his word (Prov. 22:20,21; Rom.10:8), the word of truth (John 17:17; Acts 26:25; II Cor. 6:7; Eph. 1:13; Col. 1:5; Jam. 1:18), that which was written (Eccl. 12:10; Acts 6:7; 12:24; 13:49; 19:20) by the holy prophets, and... the apostles of the Lord and Saviour (II Pet. 1:19-21; 3:2,15,16; Rom. 15:4)? THE HOLY BIBLE, Printed in 1611
Seeing its readings proves to cynics that the KJV's text has never been "revised" and is identical to that used today
(except for the rare 1611 typographical slips which were shortly thereafter fixed by King James translators themselves).
Compare these scripture verses, John 14:16, John 16:7, I Corinthians 1:18, II Corinthians 2:15, Revelation 1:18 and Revelation 20:13,14, in modern bible versions such as the NIV and the NKJV and you will see that the KJV's superior "Comforter" has been replaced by a subordinate "helper"; and the assurance of our present salvation here and now where we "are saved" by grace through faith has been replaced by a works-based salvation where we are in the process of "being saved" by our own good works and by performing superstitious rituals; and the word "hell" has been omitted thereby obscuring its philological meaning.
It is no coincident that new bible versions often agree with the Jehovah Witnesses' New World Translation and the Roman Catholic Douay Rheims Bible. For those who take the time to [search] the scriptures daily to [p]rove all things, and search out a matter to try the spirits and do their own research (Acts 17:11; I Thess. 5:21; Prov. 25:2; I John 4:1), the serpent's signature can be seen throughout new bible versions, as there is overwhelming evidence exposing the nature of the unholy omissions, additions and substitutions and the spiritual forces responsible for the changes (Isa. 14:14; II Cor. 2:17; 11:14,15; Eph. 6:12; II Thess. 2:3,11; I Tim. 4:1; Rev. 13:8).
