Diesel was born on July 18, 1967. As a kid, he was caught vandalising a
thearter and was paid $20 to act there every so often. He was a bouncer
for about 10 years at a club. He went to Hunter College but dropped out
in order to pursue an acting career. He made a short film called "Multi-Facial"
that played at Cannes and got the attention of Steven Spielburg, and was
offered a role in the movie " Saving Private Ryan". During the
filming, he was allowed to do some camera shots that actually appear in
the movie. What really launched his career though was his role as Riddick
in the movie " Pitch Black". He has also starred in " Boiler
Room", was the voice of the Iron Giant, The Fast and The Furious and
is working on some projects now. his newest movie is " Triple X"
scheduled to hit thearters on August 2, 2002. |
