Hunt Weight-Loss Workout Log

2006-10-20: Man am I sore.  The workout Wednesday was more taxing than I anticipated, especially the push-ups.  It felt good to get out and run again, though.  Today's run was a bit slower and I varied my pace a bit trying to alternate from med/high exertion to med., trying to hit the zones 2 and 3.  The zones are from a workout program that I started this summer and want to get back into seriously this fall/winter.  I'll have to look up the website and add a link to it.  It makes alot of sense and I really like it.

2006-10-18: The workout this morning was the first in three weeks.  It was easy going, though.  I felt like I needed to run so I kept the pace up and made it a good workout.  Afterwards, while I was getting ready, I was feeling very energized and did 20 push-ups.  It felt good.  Dissappointed though I am at the lack of workouts during the previous two weeks, I'm committed to changing that going forward.  I must lose this weight.  I want to be healthy, and be a healthy example, for my wife, children, and family.

2006-09-30: I'm not working out like I should, so today I suggested to Ryan and Steve that we start tracking numbers of workouts per week as well as weight-loss/-gain.  Ryan agreed to it.  Steve decided that his schedule and committment level wouldn't be conducive to start tracking exercise yet.  So, the chart will reflect, as of today, how many workouts Ryan and I get in each week by adding one comma after the weight for each workout done during the previous week.  My goal, as stated on the tracking sheet, is to get in at least 3 workouts each week, working up to six.  I'm actually dissappointed right now because I'm not up to four yet.
