Malaysia is a tropical paradise situated 7 degree north of the Equator in the heart of Southest Asia.
It comprises Peninsular Malaysia & the 2 states of Sabah & Sarawak on the Island of Borneo.

The climate is warm & humid throughout the year with cooler temperatures in the hill resorts.

Malaysia is a multi-racial country with a population of about 19.9 millions.
Main races are Malays, Chinese & Indians & a very diverse group of indigenous people in Sabah & Sarawak.
Bahasa Melayu is the national language but English is widely spoken.
Islam is the official religion but Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity & other religions are practised freely.
