Zac and Holly got to the hip resteraunt, Explosion, and sat down at a booth looking out side a window.
"Wow, this place is really cool," Zac said, looking around. The floor was black and white checkered tile, and the walls were white and black. The booths were black leather and the whole place was lighted by black and blue lights. It was a little hard to see, but the whole atmosphere was very exciting. Zac felt like something good was going to happen. "What are you going to get?" he asked Holly.
"Oh, the usual. They know what to get me," she said mysteriously.
"What does that mean? Do you come here a lot, or something?"
"Something like that. Anyway, what are you going to get?" Zac studied the menu. After he reviewed all the choices, he placed his order.
"Double cheeseburger, large fries, large Dr. Pepper, 24-piece chicken nuggets, large rootbeer float and, wait, also one of those foot hotdogs. Okay." Zac sat back satisfied with his order. Holly stared at him.
"Do you think that's enough?"
"I hope so!" They sat there a while, waiting for their orders. Zac looked out the window. A tall man in a dark coat quickly looked away from where he was standing against a phone booth. Zac looked at him and slowly turned away. "Okay, turn around slowly and tell me if you think that guy outside is watching us," he told Holly. She turned around and quickly looked at where the man was. She saw him looking their direction and she quickly turned around.
"Um, yeah, I think he was looking at us." Just then their orders came so they forgot about the mysterious guy outside. Holly finished her hamburger and small Sprite and watched Zac devour his massive meal. When he had eaten the last fry, he slumped back in the booth and groaned.
"Are you full?" Holly asked sweetly, holding back laughter.
"I think." They got up and left the resteraunt. "I've eaten more though," Zac bragged. "Once me and Taylor had a pizza eating contest and I ate 2 and a half pizza's all by myself. Tay only ate 1 and a half. I couldn't get up for three hours!"
"That's sick!" Holly laughed. She ran in front of Zac and turned to face him. "This is so fun! I hardley ever have fun."
"Why not?" Zac started to say when he saw Holly's eyes get round and her face turned white. "What's wrong?" She quickly moved back beside him and grabbed his hand.
"That guy is following us."
"What?! That guy we saw looking at us before?" Holly nodded. Zac slowly turned around and saw the guy, who was pretending like he was just going for a casual walk. Zac spun around. "Okay, just pretend like we didn't see him. It's probably some physco who figured out who I am."
"Why do you think that just because you're Zac Hanson, he would be following you?" Holly said.
"What? Well, why would he be following you?" He let go of her hand and stared at her with his arms folded across his chest.
"Just because...okay, he's speeding up," Holly said her voice getting panicky.
"It's okay. We have to get back to the hotel where I'm staying. Let's go." Zac took her hand again and they started walking faster. Zac looked behind them and saw that the guy had started walking faster. "Come on!" Zac yelled as they broke into a run. They ran down the street and as they turned the corner, they saw that the man had started running after them.
"It's okay, it's okay," Zac repeated to himself. The guy was catching up. "Down here!" Zac pointed to an alley. "We can lose him in here, with the parked cars." The guy was about 1 block behind them.
"Oh no!" Holly pointed ahead. The alley was a dead end!
"Um, quick try to see if any of the cars are open! The man was just entering the alley. They frantically tried to open car doors, but none were open. "Get under!" Zac pointed to a car.
"I'm not getting under there!"
"Just do it!" He shoved her under the car and quickly crawled under behind her. They could hear the guy walking around looking for them. After about 15 minutes, everything was quiet and Zac looked out from below the car.
"Is he gone?" asked Holly.
Zac nodded. "I think so." He crwled out from under the car and reached back to help her out. She crawled out and they stood dusting themselved off. "That was really scary," Zac said.
"I know. Look, I have to tell you something..."
Before Holly could say anything, a hand reached out from the shadows and grabbed both of them by their shirts.
