Hope in my eyes
I see love brewing like a storm to the skies.
Then you hold me close and tell me goodbye
This is the love like the storm in the skies.
Tears fall like rain, my heart turns to pain
Your words struck like lightening
in a warm summers rain.
This storm will pass over
but I'll feel the pain
This is the love like the storm in the sky
It's all just a memory
Your gentle kiss, the gifts of fresh flowers
That's not what I miss
I miss the love that you felt for me
Back when we met
But that love blew out to sea.
