Tragedy
We met that night
at the county fair.
You threw those balls
Just to win me that teddy bear.
We kissed so passionatly
in the pale moonlight,
I didn't want you outta my sight.
They say love can be so blind
But hey baby I don't mind
As long as I am yours
and you are mine,
This love will last a long,long time.
I got the call on Friday night.
They said,"Sorry m'am but he has died."
They had no reason or sympathy,
No, no, no this couldn't be.
Two years from now we were to marry.
Now I stand at this grave
tears in my eyes
I don't know what to say.
Just don't forget what we shared,
and remember I will always care
because I am yours
and you will always be mine.
