Halloween Foosball News 'N Notes

GREG SUSPENDED FROM THE 2003 HALLOWEEN FOOSBALL TOURNAMENT!!
The remaining two members of the Halloween Foosball Committee have decided that Greg will be barred from competing in the 2003 Halloween Foosball Tournament unless he signs up for Bartlett Fantasy Hockey at yahoo.com.  Greg's continual refusal to sign up has put the league's entire season in jeopardy.  Bartlett Fantasy Sports is a partner to the Halloween Foosball Tournament, and BFS's commissioner, Jim, says that further punishment could be coming.  After having Greg jerk the league around for over a week, the Commissioner's Office decided to act, and also invoked the Halloween Foosball Tournament as a way to do so.  All Greg has to do is sign up for Fantasy Hockey and he would reinstated, however Greg, who once called Fantasy Hockey "a joke", has been in a long term quest to subvert and destroy Fantasy Hockey, and his actions this fall appear to be a continuation of that.

A late addition to this story is the report that Angel Nales who holds the title of Ambassador to the Voke and Co-Commissioner of Bartlett Fantasy Sports supports Greg's suspension, "Go for it....I mean we need it to get the season started."  Reportedly, if Greg doesn't sign up and the season is cancelled because of it, Greg also will have to forfeit no less than half of his fantasy baseball picks and his first ten football picks in 2004.  Those reports are not confirmed.

Steve, the other third of the HFC and Greg's chief foosball rival, has hinted that if he invites all the people he has been thinking of inviting it would mean an all new influx of Halloween Foosball Tournament competitors.  The Halloween Foosball Committee has been very eager to bring in newcomers (as well as returning former players) after last year's tournament had only 14 people, and Shawn Paradise was the only newcomer.

An official time is still dependent on the Red Sox playoff hunt, however, it appears that with less than two weeks left, the Halloween Foosball Tournament is unofficially settling on a starting time of 2:00.

Steve is sleeping right now.  Very lazy dude.  Plays Solitaire too much as well.

The Online Halloween Foosball Tournaments are now down to the elite 8.  8 competitors remain in both the 2003 VHFT and the Celebrity Tournament.  Another recap for the Celebrity Tournament is coming soon, however, if you don't want to wait, you can vote in the tournament right now.

Go Sox! Keep the faith
