The Boston Red Sox allegedly lost to the Oakland A's last night (actually early this morning). Everyone who saw the game knows that early on Hudson got every call and Pedro got none of them, and its because he was squeezed, the Oakland bastards were able to score in the 3rd. They won game 2 in similar cheating fashion. Oakland sucks and I wish it sunk into the ocean like Lex Luthor planned.
Speaking of Lex Luthor, there has yet to be any word on whether Hakmeng Kang will be making his long awaited foosball debut in 2003. Although he is faster than a speeding bullet, he wasn't able to fly over last year from UMass Amherst, facing similar travel difficulties as Pat Casserly.
In what has to be a first since, it has been learned from the Halloween Foosball Tournament's Lowell High correspondent, Steven Ostis, that two former Halloween Foosball competitors are going out. Colin Bielski, a close personal buddy of Keith Ouellette, and brother of 10 caps in his ass Kyle Bielski is reportedly dating Amanda Stamas, cousin to the Ostis brothers, and sister to the Day Care Champion, Christos Stamas. It is a coincidence, however, as Colin and Amanda never appeared at an HFT together. Amanda only appeared at the 1997 tournament, while Colin didn't make his tournament debut until 2000. Of course, we're not including the Greg Ouellette and Lena Mendonca relationship, as that was forged before Lena made her Halloween Foosball Tournament debut, but that would be the only other case that's close.
James Higson has announced that he intends on appearing at this year's Halloween Foosball Tournament. The newest Bartlett Fantasy Football owner, Higson discussed the issue briefly with his namesake, James Ostis, earlier in the week. It should be noted however that James Higson has intended on attending both of the past two tournaments he missed. Last year, he made a mistake in the date of the tournament, and in 2001 was the infamous "Dance in Dracut."
A new addition to the website can be seen over at the VHFT section. It is a match by match results page of the 2001 Celebrity Foosball Tournament, the one that started it all.
