| The 2001 Celebrity Halloween Foosball Tournament was the first of its kind. 32 celebrities from various fields, politicians, actors, singers, athletes, pro wresters and others, took part in a tournament to determine the celebrity champion of Foosball. Ultimately, Bill Clinton and Adam Sandler were the last two standing. Exactly who won is still in dispute. The online voting shows Sandler holding a 4-3 lead, but that was held in 2002. The actual winner is usually recognized to be Bill Clinton. In any event, the lack of a conclusive winner does nothing to take away from the importance of the first Celebrity Tournament. | |||
