Waiting for the rain to end,
The summer drowning still
Alone to walk the streets once more
To feel the bitter chill
With eyes as blue as newborn sky
And tears lost in the rain
This solitary passing by
Ever conceals the pain
The clouds that swirl above him now
Will lend to him their shade
If tolerance is to allow
These choices to be made
The paths he walks, we may not know
Though they cross by ours sometimes
A stolen glance, no more to show
In the deep blue of those eyes
