February 12,1999 we went to the lawyers and paid the retainer to start the proceedings for the adoption for Robert. Thanks to you saints and God's blessings we were able to pay half the $1800 that we expect the adoption to cost without any complications. I know God will provide for the rest of the money to finish His will for us and Robert. I will update as the proceedings go along.
March 1, 1999 the parents signed their consent papers for the adoption and my husband and I signed the petition for the adoption. It is now at the courthouse and we are waiting to hear about the date for the hearing. Glory to God.
It is now March 24 and the court has decided that this is not going to be a simple private adoption. They now want us to prove that we are able to adopt and wanting various documentation. This will take us some time to get together, but we still have faith that God will work this out for the good.

The strangers we may meet and often don't greet. Many times we don't even realize we just may have met an angel that heaven sent... In a moments notice they're gone and we wonder where they went.
Kindness

I Refuse
I refuse to be discouraged, To be sad, or to cry:
I refuse to be downhearted, and here's the reason why:
I have a God who's mighty, Who's sovereign and supreme;
I have a God who loves me, and I am on His team.
He is all-wise and powerful. Jesus is His name;
Though everything is changeable, My God remains the same.
My God knows all that's happening; Beginning to the end;

The great "I AM" is with me. My life is in His hand.
