The next morning for some unknown reason I had gotten up and had to urge to take a swim. i dressed in my bikini and headed outside. I wasn't disturbed until about noon.

"Wanna come see "Big Daddy?" Melissa asked leaning over my lawn chair and tugging at my hair.

"No and stop"

"Why not?"

"Because I don't" I knew that telling my five year old sister that I just wanted to be alone and be a slacker for a day would lead only to more "why's", so I kept it short and sweet.

"Fine" As she walked in the doors Molly walked out of them.

"You comin'?" she asked

"Nah" I said, pulling my sunglasses off "Who's going?"

"Everyone except Walker, I think."

"Oh" Good, now I'd really be able to get some peace and quiet. Walker wouldn't bother me.

"Last offer: you sure you don't wanna come?"

"I'm sure"

"Kay, check you later chic"

After a while of sunbathing I heard the doors from behind me open. Figuring it was just Walker having to tell me something I waited for him to appear.

To my surprise it was Zac who came into view, he looked at me and sat on a chair next to mine.

"I thought you went with them?"

"Nah, I didn't really wanna see that movie" Was his answer "And besides" he added "They're going to some seafood place after, and if there's one thing I hate, it's seafood"

"I know what you mean" I answered. Yup, seafood was definitly on my 'Worst type of food' list.

Just as I was about to get up and ask Zac if he wanted to do something, Walker emerged through the doors.

"Kids I'm gonna run to that new guitar shop down on, oh what was it ... oh yeah Woodrow Avenue. Give me like an hour okay?"

Zac and I nodded in unison.

"Be good" Walker added, before he left.

"I'm starving" Zac announced right after Walkers departure

Come to think of it I was pretty hungry myself. "Me too"

Once we were inside Zac took a seat on the couch as I headed for the kitchen. Pretty cliche considering the girl goes to the kitchen while the boy sits and rests.

"Ham?" I offered from the kitchen

He didn't answer instead got up and joined me.

"I didn't mean for you to have to make it, I was going to help" How sweet.

"It's alright. Its only a sandwich"

Zac went to the fridge and retrived some pepsi cans, as I made the two sandwiches.

Once we were done we made our way into the living room and sat on the floor. Zac flipped through stations as I went to get some forgotten napkins.

After a while of eating and watching television we decided on trying to hook up Zacs playstation that he had brought along on the trip.

"I can't believe you don't remember where the red plug goes" I said frustrated that things were not going well.

"I'm sorry. I mean, there's a red one a white one a blue one and a green one. That's alot to remember and besides dad hooked it up back at home, not me"

"Alright let's try it just one more time" I said pushing the red plug into a socket.

"It's working!"

I pulled myself from out behind the t.v and looked on with Zac. The starting screen for 'Crash' appeared and Zac gave me a high five.

"We make a great team" he said. His fngers intertwined with mine and before I knew it he was hugging me.

"Gee Zac" I said, uncomfortable "I didn't know you liked your playstation this much"

He pulled away and looked me straight in the eye. I stared straight back at him and before I could oppose to it, his lips were on mine.
