Mixed bag of power on this CSX train shot from Maryland Heights. Everyone loved this photo but the judges at a train photo contest. We have CSX, BNSF, CR and UP. Here is a shot of the head end. Harpers Ferry, WV. Another East bound CSX coal drag on another day. We are on the hill at the ruins of the Episcopal on the way to Jefferson Rock. West bounder near the same spot. This is Saturday afternoon and things are a little slow as usual around 3 PM. But Saturday has been one of the better days to watch trains on this line. Harpers Ferry, WV. An East bound intermodal rushes by the station. Kinda scarey being so near the track with nowhere to go if something happens. Going away this is the same train going away across the bridge. Just a little something different.
