Courtyard
The pond contains 800 gallons and is made with a 60 mil. poly-vinyl liner coped with fieldstone. There is a 300-gallon per hour submersible pump that pumps to a 40-gallon up-flow biological filter. The filter medium is lava rocks and exits through a 2-foot waterfall. Fish will be added in the spring of 2000. The pond receives natural light and the temperature changes with the weather (water temperature ranges between 0 and 40 degrees celsius).
