Tips For the Journey of Life

• Do your duty and leave the result to God. For foolish is the man who thinks, He is what he is because of his body. What is yours is not yours by your will. It has bestowed upon you. Utilize it in his cause, keeping that which is enough for your simple living.
• Don’t ask. He knows what your requirement is. Give what you can. If you cannot give, wish good.
• Be the same in profit and loss, happiness and sorrow, honor and dishonor. Accept his wish humbly.
• What is real is that which exists in life and disappears in death.
• Pity the sinner and negate the sin. For the sinner is the one without sin. Sin is different from sinner. You could have very well been him. Guide the sinner. Keep away from sin.
• Silence is the best medicine. Silence is power. Silence is health. Silence is wisdom.
• There is a child in each of us. Do not suppress it for the sake of gaining value in the material world. Do not suppress it to show worldly maturity. It takes away happiness. It could bring wrinkles early.
• What is love? Not showing hatred.
• Meditate all day. I mean be with God all day. You are less prone to stress and mistakes.
• Help others. Helping others is helping yourself. Mind you or else the ripple of disturbance created in somebody else’s life will reach you one day.
• Learn from the sun. It just gives, gives and gives. If you can’t give to that extent try to be of as much possible help to others.
• Be like the lotus in the swamp.
• A flower lives better than most human beings with all wisdom. It gives fragrance to everybody and anybody like the sun, without any dispassion.
• Some people ask me whether there is God. Can a fetus in the womb see the outside world? It can when it comes out. So break the mantle of ignorance and you will see him.
• The joy of having seen him is not possible to explain in words. It can be experienced by the soul for itself. Even greater is the joy of a Brahman, which is the state of the atman (individual) merging in the ocean of paramatma (God). This is the state where there is no demarcation or disparity between the two. The individual soul has become one with the creator. This is the ultimate goal of life. Then the journey of your life ends. You live for others, for the world and live because you are alive, because he intends. You are now at a stage where you do not fear death.
