About SMIC:
The Southern Maryland
Islamic Center (SMIC), located in Prince
Frederick, MD, serves the community of
Southern Maryland. From its inception in the mid-1980's, SMIC countinues to rely on its volunteers. It's
precisely due to this support that SMIC
operates without a paid staff.
SMIC is open to anyone. We have hosted several inter-faith events with members of different faiths in an effort to promote understanding and mutual respect. We hope to continue such activities into the future.
The center is open on Fridays and certain Sundays at limited times. Please check the website for times and changes. The best way to contact us is by email.
