SMMO: What's the name of your band, who are the members, and what do they play?
Lennex: Lennex

Brandon - drums
Brian - guitar
Derek - guitar
Bruce - bass
Phil - vocals & trumpet

SMMO: What's better, stage or studio?
Lennex: Both are awesom for different reasons. When we take the stage it is 100% energy and emotion, and the studio is great because you can sit there and listen to everything come together.

SMMO: How often, and how long does your band rehearse?
Lennex: We practice everyday that we don't have a show, usually for about 4 to 5 hours.

SMMO: Do you promote more on the internet, or by "word-of-mouth"?
Lennex: We use both as much as possible.

SMMO: Are Southern Maryland venues supportive of local bands?
Lennex: We hope so

SMMO: How can audiences find out more about you, do you have a website?

-SMMO: How did the band get its name and how long has the group been around?
Lennex: Camp Lennex is the name of the summer camp Andy Kaughman went to as a kid.

SMMO: Most incouraging moment as a band, most discouraging moment?
Lennex: Playing really big shows like HFS-tival, 9:30 Club, and shows like that.

SMMO: Do you perform original songs or cover songs, or both?
Lennex: Mostly originals

SMMO: What is the biggest problem with the Southern Maryland music scene?
Lennex: We aren't there enought to promote alot

SMMO: What goals has the band set for its future?
Lennex: tour the country

SMMO: Has the band received radio or television airplay, tell us about that.
Lennex: We had alot of play on our local stations in Ocean City, Md and in Baltimore on 98 Rock and WHFS.

SMMO: Would you ever consider not playing music?
Lennex: Hope not

SMMO: What does your talent mean to you?
Lennex: Hopefully not having to work a real job
