I was pretty disappointed with not being able to go to any of the Melbourne concerts as they were both over 18, but I was still determined to meet and see them. So I made the plan to go see them at Recovery on the 27th September. When I got there they gave a wave when I held my "Ben Folds Five (gods)" sign up in the air. After they had played Underground, Ben came over and we had a tinee winee talk, and they did some Internet chat pretty much right next to where I was sitting.
They played One Angry Dwarf and then had an Interview, during the Interview, Dylan Lewis (the interviewer) said about me coming all the way from Ballarat to come see them, and the camera moved onto me and my friend, which was pretty cool! Then he asked "where the other two members were" and Ben goes "oh, them two over there on the edge" meaning me and my friend!! It was pretty darn cool too. After the interview, Darren came over and said hi, and then they all went backstage.

I had a small talk to the Tour Manager Doug, and he said he'd see what he can do about me getting some photos with them. The next thing you know some girl was taking us into their dressing room! Which was also really cool!! We got photos, had a long talk to Robert, and left them alone.
It was great! Robert came out a few minutes later to watch Cake play their song, and I had a small talk to him then, but not about anything important
