Singer. Actor. Entertainer. Ron Bohmer is all of these. He is also simply a man with a lot of heart and positive spirit that has touched many through his music and performances.

On October 9, 1999, my 17th birthday, I was fortunate enough to travel to NYC to see Ron perform in The Scarlet Pimpernel. He starred as Sir Percival, aka The Scarlet Pimpernel. Ron was absolutely dashing as Percy. His laugh was captivating, as were his expressions.

After the show I got to meet Ron at his dressing room. His cute black dog Griffen was there too. Anyway, Ron is so gracious and friendly. We talked about everything- the show, his dog, horses, even what college/major I was interested in. I had drawn an Arabian stallion in pen and ink for Ron which I gave to him before we headed back downstairs. Outside the stage door I got my picture taken next to him. Both pictures are finally posted. I can tell you right now that my smile was quite huge, as I was truly on Cloud Nine!:)
