A few hours later, Abby was completely drunk. AJ still had the same glass he had gotten and it wasn’t even half way done!
“Yo! AJ!” Nick called. He walked over to them.
“Hey Nicky!” Abby smiled letting herself drop into his arms.
“Holy fuck! AJ you got her drunk!” Nick yelled angrily.
“Man, I told her only to have one glass. She was upset over something!” AJ answered. Nick picked Abby up.
“I’m leaving and so is Abby,” Nick growled at AJ. He carried her to the limo and she was taken home.
When they got home, Nick carried her up to her room and set her on the bed.
“I love you Nickyerz!” Abby mumbled with a little giggle.
“Yeah. Go to sleep,” Nick said calmly.
“I wanna DO IT with you!!” Abby giggled grabbing Nick’s shirt collar and pulling him down to her.
“Do you? Why don’t you tell me tomorrow?” Nick smiled. He was too late. Abby had fallen asleep. Nick sighed, kissed Abby on the forehead, got up and went home.
The next morning, Nick drove over to Abby’s house to see how she was. When he got there, she was still asleep.
“Abby...” Nick whispered. Nothing happened.
“Abby,” he said a little louder only this time poking her with his finger. [Note: Dani don’t you dare think of that as something nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!]
“ABBY!!!” He yelled. Abby’s eyes flung open and she jumped about 3 feet in the air.
“What?” She asked sleepily. Nick smiled.
“You okay?” he asked.
“I’ve got a massive headache,” she groaned.
“Here, drink this,” Nick smiled handing her a cup of water. Abby thanked him and drank it slowly.
A few weeks went by and Abby and Nick STILL hadn’t told each other how they truly felt. They were walking on the beach holding hands and the sun was just setting.
“Abby, I really need to talk to you,” Nick said looking at her.
“Okay, about what?” she asked. Nick sat down on the sand and Abby sat next to him. He took a deep breath.
“Abby...” Nick began. “I love you. Not as a best friend and certainly not as a sister. I’ve loved you since the first time I saw you at the concert,” Nick finished.
“You what?” Abby asked as though she didn’t hear him.
“I love you,” Nick replied. Abby was surprised.
“But—why me out of every other girl on this planet so called earth?” Abby asked. Nick moved closer to her. His lips were almost touching her. Abby could feel his heart beat against her chest. It was beating almost as fast as hers.
“Because none of them are as beautiful, sweet, funny, and caring as you,” Nick said. He kissed her sweetly but Abby pulled away.
“None of them know the real me. Okay, they may think they do, but they really don’t. Only you do. I love you Abby, just give me a chance,” Nick said. Abby sighed and looked at her hands.
“Abby, please. Give me a chance. Go out with Brian, Chrissy (Brian’s girlfriend) and me tonight. If you don’t like it then I’ll understand,” he finished.
“Fine. We’ll see how it works out,” Abby sighed. She loved Nick, but she still wasn’t sure. But there was something in that kiss that she knew was special. [Note: Dani if you tease me about this I’ll have to hurt you!!!!!!! LoL]
Later that night, Abby met up with Nick, Brian and Chrissy. Nick was sitting on the curb outside his house while Brian and Chrissy were making out.
“Hi Nick,” Abby said shyly. Nick looked up from staring at the pavement and saw Abby. He smiled and looked at her from head to toe. She was wearing a semi-tight black Baby-T, with a short black skirt.
“Hey Abby!” He smiled. Brian and Chrissy broke apart.
“What a great first impression...” Abby mumbled. Nick wore a brown shirt and black pants. Kind of like in the As Long As You Loved Me video only without the tan button-up-thing.
“You look nice,” Nick smiled looking Abby from head to toe again.
“Thanks, you do too,” Abby blushed. Abby was introduced to Chrissy. Soon they left to go to the restaurant.
