Nick's Mystery Girl(Chapter 1)
Suddenly she shot upright in her bed. She realized that in much less than 24 hours she would be in front row seeing the Backstreet Boys. Her name is Abby Davis. She’s an 18-year-old girl living in her own house in Miami, Florida. She has blonde hair, crystal blue eyes, and 5 foot 8 inches, slim and well, you could say she was very pretty. She was so excited that she would be able to be up close to Nick Carter!
Since she couldn’t sleep she hopped onto her computer. Her friend Christine was online. They talked for a little while then decided to get offline and go to bed. Abby fell asleep quickly.
The next afternoon Abby and her best friend Amanda (Mandy) Harris were in the mall shopping for cute outfits to wear. Mandy was going to the concert with Abby.
“Hey Abby, which outfit should I wear?” Mandy asked. She held up two different outfits. Blue tube top and blue jeans with black high-heeled boots. Then she held up a spaghetti strap tank top and black flare pants with the same shoes.
“Black outfit,” Abby answered with a smile. Mandy smiled and went to pay for everything. Abby was choosing between a green Baby-T and a matching miniskirt with green shoes and a navy baby-T which black flare pants and black shoes (Like Mandy’s). She couldn’t choose so she bought both. Abby ended up wearing the navy Baby-T and black flare pants.
Finally, the time of the concert came. Abby and Mandy were in Abby’s dark blue Camaro Convertible blasting Backstreet Boys music and singing the whole way to the arena. They were hyper and ready to scream their heads off.
Finally, BSB came onstage. Err...they flew over it. Girls were screaming so loudly! Abby and Mandy were going nuts. Nick flew right over Abby and she jumped up and touched his board thing and almost made him fall off! He got startled but them looked down, smiled, winked and waved.
After a few songs it was Nick’s solo. All the lights went out and all that was heard was screaming. Then a spotlight showed on Nick. He was in all white and everything else was black. He was sitting on a stool with a microphone in his hand. He smiled and put the microphone to his mouth. Everything went quiet.
“Shhh...” He smiled.
“Open up, your heart to me, and say what’s on your mind, oh yes...I know that we have been, through so much pain. But I still need you in my life...this time.... And...I need you tonight, I need you right now...and I know deep within my heart, it doesn’t matter if it’s wrong or right...” Nick sang. His eyes were roaming the audience and suddenly they found Abby. He stood up and walked over to her. Then he took her hand in his.
“I really need you tonight...” He sang to her. “I figured out...what to say to you. But sometimes the words, they—they come out so wrong, oh yes they do. And I know at times that you will understand that what we have, is so right...this time... I need you tonight, I need you right now...and I know deep within my heart, it doesn’t matter if it’s wrong or right...” He sang looking Abby right in the eyes. She looked back and just smiled and quietly sang with him.
Nick’s solo ended and he forced himself to let go of this mystery girl. It was intermission and girls were giving Abby evil looks. Mandy was flipping out.
“OMG ABBY! You were just serenaded by NICK CARTER!” Mandy screamed.
“I know!!!” Abby yelled. Mandy and Abby talked during the intermission.
The guys were still changing. They were also talking. Kevin looked at Nick.
“You did something new tonight Nick,” he said.
“I know. But this one girl... Man I couldn’t resist! She is so beautiful! You should see her,” Nick blurted bringing his head in from the curtains.
“Who is she?” Brian asked.
“I don’t know her name, but she’s sitting right there!” Nick answered pointing to her.
“You’re right man! Who can’t resist?” AJ snickered.
“Don’t touch her!” Nick growled.
“I won’t! I’ll just bring her backstage after the concert,” AJ grinned.
“Ahh! Are you crazy?!” Nick exclaimed.
“No! But you are! About her...” Brian snickered. Nick blushed.
“Guys! Let’s go! We’re on again!” Howie instructed. The guys went back out onstage.
