Chapter 8

About three months later, Julia was still in Florida. Nick and the guys were supposed to be back but they weren’t and Julia was going crazy.

“Where are they?!” Julia asked herself. She was pacing around the house nervously. When Julia said down again, she had to jump back up. The doorbell had rung and she needed to answer it. She opened the door to see Nick and the guys at her door.

“OMG!” Julia yelled. She hugged Nick.

“JULES!!!!!!!” Nick yelled. They hugged. Then Julia hugged the rest of them.

“It’s so good to see you guys!” Julia smiled.

“You too!” Nick smiled. They all stepped into Julia’s empty house.

“No one’s home.... Why?” Brian asked.

“They moved out,” Julia answered.

“Cool!” Nick smiled. AJ slapped him upside the head.

“I mean.... Awe! Too bad!” Nick corrected himself.

“No, it is cool. No one to bother the hell out of me!” Julia answered. They all sat down. Nick obviously next to Julia.

“So, how have you been? We haven’t spoken to you in a while,” Kevin asked.

“I’ve been okay. I mean, it’s been weird around here. No one to talk to or hang out with. Ya know what I mean? I don’t have many friends,” Julia answered.

“Oh,” Kevin answered. Julia nodded.

“What’s wrong?” Howie asked. Julia sighed.

“I dunno. I’m really happy to see you guys and everything, there is just some stuff going on,” Julia answered. Brian put his arm around Julia. Nick made a growling noise and Brian took his arm away from Julia. Julia looked at Nick with a What-The-Hell-Was-That?! Look on her face.

“I had something in my throat,” Nick lied. He glared at Brian.

“Whatever,” Julia shrugged. Brian rolled his eyes.

“I’ll be back,” Julia said getting up. Nick looked up at her.

“Where are you going?” Nick asked.

“To get a drink of water and to go change,” Julia answered.

“I’ll get a drink too,” Brian answered getting up. Julia took his hand and walked into the kitchen. Brian opened her refrigerator.

“Bri, what is up with Nick?” Julia asked.

“Well, he loves you, and he gets jealous so easily. I shouldn’t be telling you this but it’s true,” Brian answered. Julia sighed.

“What’s the matter? Don’t you love him?” Brian asked.

“Yes, I’m just scared of being hurt. But I only love him as a brother Brian,” Julia answered.

“Oh, I know how that is. I mean the being hurt thing,” Brian answered. He put an arm around Julia. Julia turned it into a hug. They hugged each other tightly. Just then Nick passed by. He saw them hugging and since Brian was facing the doorway he saw Nick and put up a peace sign. Nick gave half of that back and it was not the pointer finger. Brian just smiled and hugged Julia tighter.

“Ah! No air! Let go!” Julia giggled. Brian let go.

“Sorry...” he smiled. They got their drinks and walked back into the living room to hang out with the guys. Nick would eye Julia every so often and she would do the same. Only she wouldn’t eye Nick. She would eye AJ. Who did Julia like? Nick or AJ? Chapter 9 | Go To The Main Page! | Main Story Page
