During the mission, her mind was taken over by a noncorporeal lifeforms. These lifeforms were the last survivors on the planet Zetar. In the TOS episode "The Trouble with Tribbles" a Klingon officer was bad-mouthing Captain Kirk and Chekov wanted to shut him up. Everytime Chekov wanted to shut the Klingon up, Scotty kept him at bay making him sit back down. But when that same Klingon officer insulted the Enterprise by telling him the Enterprise is a garbage scow, that comment set off Scotty and a fist fight insued.
