However, most people didn't take the rumors seriously-until Professor Oak discovered it for sure! Mew is a very calm Pokémon that is extremely difficult to defeat in battle. It likes to surround itself with a special barrier that protects it against enemy attacks. Experts believe that Mew's only match in competition is Mewtwo.
