Inside the Biodome
Welcoming visitors to Montreal's old port is the breathtaking Notre Dame church. It's a must-see etc etc etc etc etc. Talk about Montreal's old port. The World Trade Centre consists of 11 buildings connected together. It's a fabulous work of art and architechture. Outside of the old port are cosmopolitan sights to be seen. The Olypmic Stadium hosted the 1976 summer olympics and right beside is the Biodome where Snoopy travelled the world and mingled with his fellow animals.

The Prehistory Museum at McGuill University Montréal's McGuill University has it's Prehistory museum open to the public for free. Despite it's lack of airconditioning (a blessing in the winter), it's a great place to spend a half hour looking at tools, breathtaking precious rocks, from eons ago as well as stuffed animals (not the toys).

This museum is a little tricky to find. But the stroll through the University isn't too bad. A little oasis right in the middle of busy downtown! And what a perfect way to compliment your whale-watching trip in Tadoussac-- there's a skeleton of the minki whale here.

Stuff about Montréal
World Trade Centre It's a cosmopolitan city with cultures, fashion, bilingualism, and a coffee served with orange syrup (it's called "Cafe Dante" and it's only served at one cafe. No, it isn't a specialty of Montréal or anything.). Situated on top of Mount Royal, the view is spetacular. St. Joseph's Oratory is a must-see so is the World Trade Centre on the left. It is composed of 11 old buildings contained into one! Let's put it this way, when you are inside, you may think you are outside. A piece of the Berlin wall is on display here and don't take a picture of the building on the end (the beige one on the south side...or is it the north side?).
