is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according

We need to understand God is not a genie. (He is not in a lamp, to grant
us our every wish). God is not here to serve us, and give us everything we
think we need. We are here to serve and worship and obey God. It’s not about
what we want it’s about God’s will and purpose for our lives. We are all
representatives of God; here to show the lost and deceived what
When
you ask, you do not receive; because you ask with the wrong motives, that you
may spend what you get on your pleasures.
What a concept, we do not receive because we ask with the wrong motives!
Are the things we ask for to fulfill our earthly pleasures or are they
to fulfill God’s purpose?
Before we think we need more, we need to be thankful for what God has
blessed us with. If you really need it He already knows, and if it’s in His
will you will get it; according to His will not ours.
If
you really think about it God has already given us so much, OUR SALVATION! Something none of us deserved.
Before we can get more don’t you think we to be satisfied with what He has
already given us?
I encourage everyone to
take time and meditate on what God has given you personally. Then take time to
thank Him for it, I mean really thank and praise Him. God is so good!
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His
courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. Ps

Being thankful to
God, and praise Him. What a powerful combination, thanking God for what He has
given you, and then turning around and praising Him for it.
I used to whine about
what I didn’t have all the time, instead of being thankful for what He has blessed me with. If it was His will I would already have it, but the problem
was He could not trust me with more if He could not trust me with what I
already had. I have always been blessed with a good job, but I was always
complaining about it. Speaking what I didn’t like about it, instead of thanking
God for it. After all He is the one who opened the door for me,
He has put me where I am for His purpose. My job is to be obedient and do His
work where He has assigned me.
Until I stopped
whining about things I was not happy with, when He brought it to my attention
it was a real shock. I now have a different view of life, being positive is way
better than being negative! Praise God!
