Meet my husband Don. He is the "TOP" welder at a local paper mill. Gotta love those welding slag burned clothes. Although we have been together since we were in our early teens. We dated for 10 years before we married in 1973. He's my best friend. We share many hobbies and you'll be seeing some of the stuff that we do on our hobby page.
Now you should meet our son, Jeff. He is a 1997 graduate from EMTC (Eastern Maine Technical College) with an Associates Degree in Electrical Power. He was also a Gold Medal winner in the VICA Competition for Motor Controls. Jeff is a Journeyman Electrician now. He has to get more hours in to get his Masters....he's getting there. Jeff has a very good job as an electrician at Jackson Lab in Bar Harbor. He needed to relocate to that area and with our help, we found him a home in Franklin, Maine. Here is a picture of Jeff's very first house of his own. He became a homeowner on November 3, 2001. Much to his surprise, he was visited by a neighbor with goodies welcoming him to the neighborhood. We invited our family and some friends to have a house warming party a few weeks later. In 2003, Jeff met the girl that would be his bride. Please follow this link to the page I dedicate to them. This
is our home. We have have lived here since 1977 when Jeff was only
4 months old. Over the years, we have made quite a few changes.
Recent renovations have been, new shingles on the roof and we gave it a
new coat of paint. We remodeled the kitchen recently. We also
enlarged the deck and put a roof over it. I sit out there in my glider
and read or knit. Very peaceful. Here are a couple pictures
for you to see.
This is our woodworking shop. It's a 24' x 30' heated building loaded with all the wood working tools necessary for us to build our projects. We spend a lot of time out there building things for ourselves or to sell in my craft business.
Here is a picture of my new fun car. It's a 1968 VW Beetle. It's was in excellent condition when we purchased it and the restoration in continuing. Here is our 4 legged member of our family. Visit Domino's page. A family picture of my brothers and sisters and spouses. I am the second from the youngest but the one with the most gray hair. Quite the handsome brood, eh?? Please visit this awesome site. It's an archive of pictures of some of my ancestors and the area where I grew up. It was all put together by a cousin of mine named Harold Lacadie.
